We highly recommend that you exfoliate and shave the day before your session. Exfoliating is very important because it will make the tan last longer.
In the shower, use an oil-free scrub or bath mitts with a mild shower gel to exfoliate your entire body. This will remove all of the dead skin so your spray tan can be applied to a fresh, clean layer of your skin.
Spray tan can be applied in what you are comfortable wearing (swimsuit, bra and panties, nude and etc.,) and if you get spray tan without your bra/panties, it is best not to put them back on after your tan
Wear dark, loose fitting clothes to the appointment (Tight clothing can rub off & smear solution)
Do not apply any lotion, perfume, make-up, or deodorant before your session (These products can act as a barrier making the tan less effective)

Do not shower for at least 8 hours after your tan. Be very careful around water and do everything you can to prevent perspiration.
When you shower, use a body wash or shower gel, avoid harsh bar soaps.
You will see color washing off the first time you shower. This is normal. Your skin will continue to tan as the self-tan reaction occurs on your skin.
When showering, use your hand instead of a wash cloth. Taking long , hot baths or soaking in a pool will fade your tan.
Avoid exfoliating skin and hair removal products.
If you swim in a pool, use a waterproof sunscreen. This will help seal the tan and prevent it from fading.
